Suggestions for galleries in Portland OR, by hillsdale on Mar 29, 2017 5:02:08 GMT 1, I just moved up to Oregon from Southern California and I'm already missing the galleries in LA. Thinkspace , GR2, etc and I'm hoping I can get some suggestions for galleries to check out in Portland.
My tastes run to Herakut, Mari Inukai, Know Hope, Harland Miller, Miss Bugs, Stormie Mills, Basquiat and Etam Cru.
So far I found Nucleus Portland who's just starting out but would really appreciate any suggestions.

Suggestions for galleries in Portland OR, by maddoghoek100 on Mar 29, 2017 5:07:17 GMT 1, Antler and Talon are owned by the same folks and can be hit or miss but are a good group of folks. Helion is not bad.
There are also a bunch of open studio type deals, aj fosik, brin levinson, and souther salazar are all in the same building
I like a lot of what Nuc does, very nice folks, but seems to run a bit more consumable than some of the folks on your list.

Suggestions for galleries in Portland OR, by hillsdale on Mar 29, 2017 5:51:36 GMT 1, Thanks for the suggestions. I'll check these out in detail but after a quick look the open studio artists look interesting. How often do they open up?
Hellion has some Yoskay ...definitely worth checking out.
They do seen really cool & laid back at Nucleus. Their coaster show reminded me a lot of Giant Robot's post it show.

Checkout at Jason 'PoBoyArt' Brown. He has a gallery and frame shop in PDX. Does alot of stuff with gig artist such as EMEK, Chucks Sperry, etc.. The Goodfoot is a bar/gallery combo on east side owned by him and others.
