Like when Napoleon said China was a sleeping giant, when Obey stops churning out prints; beware!
I feel like a broken record but I think Pose is the most talented artist this side of contemporary. He has the potential of being big.
When it comes to the Invader phenomenom, I believe there is more than meets the eye.
However, I like Invader. Exit through the gift shop was a watershed film, whoever was featured there, has a shine.

Assuming positive intent...Maybe just a last chance to own a piece that they considered before they become out of reach.

$$ INVADER $$, by FЯ on Apr 2, 2017 7:32:17 GMT 1, Just like banksy, there are tons of invader prints to go around. They are all coming out the woodwork now. I disagree, u/s banksy's are editions of 500-600? Plus signed another 150? Most invaders are signed editions of 50-100 Kits are editions of 150? So something like less than 1/10 the amount of banksy's? Invader did unsigned prints as well in the early days, editions of 300 each. i dont think you can argue that there is not alot out there as it is untrue, just use google a bit.
Just for comparison / this is just an example... so dont bite my head off!...
But one edition like kubrick Alex which is signed and unsigned equals the total amount of someone like stiks total print catalogue of which only signed exist. It is just supply and demand which drives alot of this.
You will probably find once people realise how much they can make, more invader work will start popping out. Bit like when people found out those natwest bank piggy banks from the 1980s were worth something
Hopefully that is the case as it means more to go around for everyone, who was not remotely interested in invader a few weeks ago but now seems to be loving the work. Tongue firmly in cheek there.

Don't hate anyone well apart from overinflated hyped up prints that normal people can't afford. Guess there is a certain vested interest in the status quo. Upwards pressure on print prices helps the privileged few. I have a Van Gogh poster on the wall you can purchase it if you like? Think you need to chill. I like the street stuff. I don't think anyone's time 'in the game' should be indicative or entitlement of eventual success. I like the more contemporary looking prints like binary bug/code, rubikcubism, not so sure about the kits, embossed indoors.

They were angry posts. And? So what? Jealousy is probably the wrong word for it because I prefer to find and enjoy invader street pieces rather than fork out thousands for a print. I suspect you own a few based on your over reaction to comments on the stupidity of the art market. Not that I really care to be honest. Hope you have a good Sunday

Also surely as a street artist you would like your work to get to a fans hands rather than a multimillionaire collectors - kind of against the entire basic principal of your work no? Guess that ethos has been lost or so I can see with many threads/posts here hyping up stuff

Do you think these prices being thrown about here are questionable? If they are going up in the last few months as fast as what is being said here, then surely that would be faster than any Banksy price rises. I don't have any of his work, I fuckin love it on the streets but not so much for my home. I'm just interested in why this huge peak. Is it sudden hype or a couple of big investors snapping up some pieces from the galleries? I understand why everyone seems to be selling up fast, but I don't understand the sudden urge to buy at these crazy prices.

I don't really understand the matter of this thread, Invader put his artworks since 96/97 , he is a wellknown and a " old " streeetart man now. He is not a bubble and, I am sure, he does not care. For me, the prices are normal and not so high as some here pretend. I did not know that this prices has a big increase these days, for me it is still the same, I should have a look on eBay
