Happened upon some authentic Fairey and Swoon street pieces, by Deleted on May 7, 2017 1:40:21 GMT 1, mmmmm.....this sounds very fishy to me, I am naturally the skeptical type so please excuse me and I don't want to pry but how can you not know what these are worth having such a collection as this? You already said in your first post "having a collection this valuable at times makes me wonder if I should sell some pieces off"
Are you: a:burgular who has/is casing a joint b:a disgruntled son/daughter hoping to sell Mum & Dads/friends art collection whilst they are away skiing or in Monaco
Something smells fishy Sir!!!! please clarify for all of us on here and in doing so I am sure you will not only get the help you need but some offers on some superb looking art.

Happened upon some authentic Fairey and Swoon street pieces, by thisisit on May 7, 2017 3:26:13 GMT 1, i think the only question that people should be asking here is: do these come with a certificate of authenticity? or where they just lifted off the street?
at this point I'm so bored with people just getting pieces off the street, the least they could do is enjoy them quietly with out selling them
Are all these pieces signed?

Happened upon some authentic Fairey and Swoon street pieces, by thisisit on May 7, 2017 4:01:53 GMT 1, My initial intention was never to sell the collection, and still really isn't. I also never expected the collection to grow after the first piece that I got. Faireys work isn't signed, the Swoon said she signed the door, but I haven't been able to find it. Honestly didn't look for it on the back or anything though. Wanted to hang it asap lol. I've been told the face alone is $100k piece, and at that, being able to buy a house and have it paid off in exchange for selling it, starts to become a serious question. It's still hard to believe I own the collection. Really just want it in a museum for people to see the way it should be and was originally intended for. I just know that if i ever spent over 4K$ on an artwork i would definitely need a certificate of authenticity.
If Swoon gave you permission, then if you have the communication documented. that could potentially be worth the price of an original.

If I had $100k to spend, I could commission shep to paint a gigantic original that would be much nicer than this entire mural was before it got destroyed by greed and stupidity. Good thing you're friends don't know more about street art culture, or how incredibly tacky and awful it is to flaunt stolen goods(especially artwork) as a prized possession.

Best chance youve got of turning that into a house, is to put legs on it and live under a table with a pretty roof!
