In terms of corrections the biggest one that comes to mind is Trolleys. That print should be Β£25k all day. π signed or unsigned ?

With the canvas pieces pulling away, It's was only a matter of time before the under priced prints had a slight correction. A Reaper at Sothebyβs sold for Β£32,500 this week. Exactly, I'm sure you could get one well under that 6 months ago.

Forum Auctions β’ Banksy Marketplace π¬π§, by sanssouci on Jan 29, 2019 22:07:45 GMT 1, Can anyone help?
I was involved via my artsy account and stated a maximum bid of 35K for the barcode print a few days ago. They informed me that I was outbid by the floor, but at the same time the hammer price is the same as my maximum bid.
how can the hammer price be the same as my maximum bid without winning?
Can anyone help?

Depending on the first bid and the bid increments your absentee bid or max bid wasn't factored as a floor or phone bid beat you out to the 35k bid increment. To avoid this you either monitor the auction live and continue bidding or set a higher max. Just part of the bid game.
Floor bid 33k You bid 34k Floor bid 35k SOLD

Wow. Surely a resting bid should supersede one from Johnny on the Spot, regardless of where you're located. You'd be in deep kaka in some markets not following that rule.

It was the second strange situation for me with artsy. A few months ago I was also outbid and the next day they offered me to buy the art work (a painting by Andy Denzler) at my maximum bid, as the winning bidder would like to cancel. I refused this offer as it was a bit strange to me.
I guess I am not very successful in this game
