Don't forget the 500k one. Sad I didn't screenshot everything, they've already removed 20+ pages.

How good of an investment are his silkscreens on wood?
At $3200, will they keep their value? Will they go up? Down?
At that price I'm concerned that the buyer pool is much smaller than for prints, and therefore keep the price suppressed.

Enquired on 4 originals yesterday, all gone. Seems there is a lot of people at the door.

I've been emailing them for weeks requesting the catalog. Then, with no announcement, warning, or even suggestion as to when to look for the email from them, they send out the link. By the time I see the email, 2 hours later, it's too late. Everything that I liked, and my alternatives, were sold.

Tons of media/movie coming out, largest show for him ever. You can't really expect LSC to push you to the front of the line with one email can you? They have long list of long term clients, same with Shep and his people. The key is to plan ahead, buy from the galleries prior to the show you really want. The good thing with Shep is he does a lot of smaller varied shows. His Treason Show in WA a few months back had a lot of nice hpm woods etc... I got on the list there and still did not manage to get the piece I was looking for... - it happens to the best of us. I will say that after a conversation with the people at Treason they are great folk and I hope to purchase something from them in the future. - Back to Damaged, 200+ pieces, they probably had 2000+ preview requests.... the odds are not good for any of us, much less the first time buyers. As I said, try to find the smaller shows, you will have a much better chance.... 1/2 my shep collection has come from bottom feeding! lol.... the other half was really hard work... ec
ps. watch the upcoming Shep documentary on hulu... its really good! Go check out the Damaged show if you can, I am sure it will entertain.

I seriously doubt anyone got back quicker then I did.... -what probably happened was someone said " I'll take that canvas for 80k and I would really like the andre head also... " - and I don't blame them for selling it to that bloke over me.... - I would do the same thing in their shoes.... its a good example of why the larger shows are so hard to land the popular images. ec

I did not get it lol.... I seriously doubt anyone got back quicker then I did.... -what probably happened was someone said " I'll take that canvas for 80k and I would really like the andre head also... " - and I don't blame them for selling it to that bloke over me.... - I would do the same thing in their shoes.... its a good example of why the larger shows are so hard to land the popular images. ec My friend I responded within 1 minute of getting it but you probably got it hrs before I did......

yes - they are updating. i saw a nice big HPM on the list now...
but nothing to do with "availability ( sold / not sold)" because I paid my artwork already...and it is still on the list :-o
