Thanks. I'd look back at the original Walled Off thread, or search for Walled Off threads... there was lots of usefull info in the original one, plus I seem to remember someone starting their own with a massive amount of useful info after they visited. Shouldn't be too hard to search for.
Usually, for all things massive amount of useful info relating to Banksy, the answer is Lee3. He made a video:

In addition, after visiting Palestine and meeting the local folks, you'll be far less concerned about missing out on Banksy merchandise / tatt and missing out on the next big drop by Invader, Pejac or whomever.

No problems on my way.
Now travel wise really does depend what they want to spend I got taxis and doesn't come cheap £80 from Airport to Jerusalem alone. Couldn't be bothered with all the jumping on the bus wanted to maximise the time I had. In Jerusalem there is plenty of Palestinian taxi drivers who will drop you at the hotel on the longest route but seemingly quickest at the boarder.
As for leaving the hotel they can arrange a car to the Airport for $120
One important thing of note don't just turn up at Tel Aviv Airport as you would do in this country. It has 3 different security checks and can take up to 1.30 hours just to get through them. Give yourself enough time.

Passport/border control head far right to foreign passports and if your travelling on your own expect to be sent to the waiting area. The waiting area is a side room full of cameras while they check your passport again. I was lucky 15mins question purpose of travel. Answer Jerusalem holy sites and tourist stuff, then Tel Aviv beach, food and drink. No problems on my way. Please be very careful if you are actually booking flights or planning on going there for anything but a nights stay at the hotel. This is not a joke like Banksy is having with us - this is fact. If merchandise does become available - I will update this post but as of 5 AM in the US there is only postcards, a mug and apparel available.

So are you saying that this is just a con or "played" to get people on false pretences to go to the hotel? That's quite a bold statement for a Banksy forum moderator to say. Just because there isn't art for sale today doesn't mean there won't be in the coming days. As always it would be helpful if POW just dropped their endlessly ambiguous marketing methods.
