Bitcoin, by moron on Jan 21, 2018 14:05:10 GMT 1, has anyone used bitcoin to buy or sell anything physical? Is this a serious question? Very, and i'm surprised my question went over your head. It's aimed at people on here who are posting about their investments in various cryto currencies. Just to find out if any have any intention in using their cryto currency to buy or sell physical good with.
It just looks to me like people have got hooked on this investing in cryto bubble to buy and sell cryto, thats all.
Regarding it being all about the blockchain technology. Why should any crypto coin based on blockchain be more valuable than any other?

Bitcoin, by chizchiz on Jan 22, 2018 20:38:08 GMT 1, Has anyone looked at the ICO upcoming for a company called Current (ticker: CRNC)? Have heard from a few people in the industry that its a very legit company, and has some huge name backing (Mark Cuban among others). Can't imagine that this won't do well given the focus on the space and that this isn't just some fake company raising just because. Would love any critical feedback if anyone has dug in on this one...

Nothing to do with CNBC ... all about Milton Friedman back in 1999 predicting the room for decentralized money ;-)

Come on man, why you listening to CNBC, CNN, Fox, Bloomberg, WSJ, Warren Buffet all those people are fools.
HA Best post of the year. Advice from someone who does not even read your post.... Shoot Again put up a great short video of Milton Friedman talking about essentially bitcoin back in 99.... But @blanksky probably doesn't even know who that is. Best part you don't even need FB to watch the video.
Listen to ill informed forum members like blanksy not Friedman hahahahah

I said I don't have facebook, so i have not seen this particular video. On the other hand, I have seen about 20 CNBC-vids on youtube that were posted in the crypto-reddit. Every one of those vids contained either flat out lies, misinformation or just ill informed guesses from people that had no clue what they were talking about.
And yes, I do know who Milton Friedman is and I have seen the video of him predicting bitcoin/blockchain a few times before.
All I tried to do was warn people to not blindly believe what the MSM tells you about crypto. And CNBC is the worst source I have seen of all of them. If you want to be informed about crypto, follow twitter, reddit, slack, telegram channels, etc.

CNBC is utter utter shit, but I guess even a blind squirel finds a nut (and posts about it on FB) one in a while haha.

You shouldn’t do that. Go to Gdax and your limits will be higher. Use you Coinbase info.

Also.. perhaps you may in turn want to visit hashflare.io or genesis mining and buy a mining contract with your CRedit card. You’ll get more ETH over time.

Bitcoin, by Schrödinger's Chat on Feb 3, 2018 19:58:16 GMT 1, I threw a bit of cash at it in a FOMO moment, now I'm a little bit down and I keep going through moments of 'sell and move on' or hodl and at least get my money back.
There is a sort of self-schadenfreude, as the whole thing reminds me of a money making leaflet I ordered through the post when I was 18, full of pyramid schemes and the like, which I quickly dismissed. 20 years later I'm sucked in by this!
