Watching What Keeps You Alive (2018)* on Netflix led to my discovery of both the understated original song and the cover below.
The film is worth viewing. Impressive acting, and I enjoyed the oftentimes medical approach to the subject of psychopathy and its characteristic traits.
It was the lyrics of Bloodlet that first caught my attention. In the film, they're sung by Hannah Anderson's character, Jackie. However, the official soundtrack version is by Brittany Allen, who plays the other lead role, Jules.

Sadly, Vinceโs career took a dive after he developed a voracious appetite for LSD, although this did prove fruitful for one of rock musicโs greatest chameleons. One day Vince was doing his usual insane ranting outside a London tube station when he approached a young David Bowie (then still David Jones) and pulled out a map to show David exactly where the spiders from Mars weโre going to land. Many years later, Vince would become the โleather messiahโ of Bowieโs Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars.

Really like Sarah Jones' drumming. She played for New Young Pony Club, Bat for Lashes, Bloc Party and Hot Chip,very solid alternative background.
