Interesting question and my eyes like both images too. I was (quite) surprised a moment ago looking at the auction house history of both images on artnet. Leaving paintings out of the equation and instead focusing solely on prints, there have been 14 WSM's auctioned since '07 (no AP's). 6 of the 14 were signed and all 6 were bought in which I found strange. All but one of the signed WSM's offered had low estimates north of 6500 GBP and one as high as 15k GBP which is aggressive. In the case of the 8 unsigned prints, 6 were bought in and 2 sold at 2k and 1.875k GBP including premium. I should note that its been a while since any came under the hammer with the most recent being September '11.
In the case of BME, 13 have come under the hammer since '07, none of which were AP's. 2 of the 13 were signed and sold at 13k and 13.2k GBP respectively. Of the 11 unsigned, 2 sold below 2k GBP (both back in '07) and the rest in the 2.5-4.5k GBP range.
Why the discrepancy? I have no idea as they are both old, landscape format prints of relatively crude images featuring little color. My eyes (really) like both images and I can only speculate that people prefer the commentary of left leaning politics over seaside retirement compositions though the sample size is admittedly low. I think if you swapped their titles the results would be almost reveresed. No one realy cares or has an attachment to Weston Super Mare (The place) and even fewer have "developed" opinions about it. Whereas most have an opinion about a typical Daily Mail version of "Miiddle England" and the values attached to the sport of crown green bowling..
BME has universal (UK) values attached to it..hence the premium.. nicer colours too :-) IMO

firstly i am very genuine, i never sell fake stuff... my ebay is 'moominmama43'
loads of people will vouch for me on banksy forum, but lots will slate me about my prices and marketing ways, using more user names etc...
anyway, the print... i bought this print from banksy member 'babyford' 3 years ago.
i collect mostly KAWS, RETNA and OS Gemeos, and never had any interest in the banksy scene... i just liked the image... i have tried to get COA, but POW never get back to you.. not sure if i did it right on their website, but have just given up trying to contact them.
it doesn't have COA, but i will refund you the money if its fake, of which i will assure is not.
i have the emails that the previous owner gave to me which are printed tracing it back to the shop it which it was bought.
i will scan them and show you be all means (just send me your email)... totally honest about it... i am just not a banksy fan, and want to sell to someone who can sort the COA and be happy with it.
you can pay me with paypal, +4% and i can refund you if they refuse COA... i will even set up some banksy forum thread if it helps even more about our agreement. so i am on record saying it.
i really want to sell it to a UK person, as its easiest for transport.
i will sell it abroad, and can take it out the frame but only as a last resort. it was not framed by me.. i bought it like this, just hung it on my wall. I also bought an u/s Banksy from 'Babyford' around 3 years ago which had also been framed by the same framers. I had no problem when I removed it, so can vouch for the framing process. My Banksy also came without a COA, which I have since obtained.

They were put in frames within a few days of me getting them and as such are in mint condition.

I will get full provenance from Pest Control, which should be easy as I bought them from POW.
They are currently located in Edinburgh.
Having checked them both tonight, Laugh Now is not dry mounted, but sadly Weston is....
