Amp, by corblimeylimey on Apr 3, 2007 11:26:09 GMT 1, This picture was posted by Beejoir, and shows AMP (Phai) creating the Dead Che prints.
In the background you can see plenty of Dead Che canvases, so contacting the artist direct would be the way to go, try his website www.ampstreet.com/art.htm (although I sent an email about tee shirts and never got a reply) or see if you can get any info from Beejoir or via SOS.

Amp, by corblimeylimey on Apr 3, 2007 11:30:29 GMT 1, Looking at Camps site and the prices £600 for the set of Kwan, which only cost £105, I think you could divide the price of the canvas by at least 5.

Amp, by rolyateel on Apr 11, 2007 19:53:04 GMT 1, just framed my kwan print
also (& I hate doing this having never sold a print before)...I bought a set of 3 prints...but have come to the realisation that I'm very unlikely to frame all 3...so if someone is interested in the other 2 colourways please PM me
rather someone buy them from me than them sit in a folder

That's looking good framed up, I've got a frame just like that from habitat for another project, is yours a habitat frame? if so how do you stop the print touching the glass?

Amp, by Tyler Durden on Apr 11, 2007 20:05:49 GMT 1, Ive got an identical frame job on my 'Photo Op' by Peter Kennard. Had it professionally done, in a floating frame and vacuum pressed. Not sure if the Habitat one would have the same effect.

I've got a 50X50 cm Habitat frame, and the print is 50X50 (according to the sos website, haven't measured it) and rolyateel's looks really good, I'm sure if I went to my framer they'll probably be able to do a slightly better job but it's gonna cost around £130, for a £35 print. My only reservation would be the conservation issues, as you never know it could be worth a lot more in the future.

£22 habitat dark birch frame about £4 worth of frame spacers from my framers...these stick to the glass to keep the print away from it - have used them on all my prints now as all are in nielsen frames
if you can't find them - pm me - I have some short offcuts so could photograph them & email to u
