Does anyone have a good piece exploring confirmation bias and art? I've had a quick look but nothing obviously worthwhile popped up.
Context being commissions as the most likely example but any guidance appreciated.

Artists who you have commissioned , by artzzzy on Apr 20, 2021 8:46:15 GMT 1, I have mixed feelings about commissioning work from an artist.. I feel that by giving them directions I’d be interfering in their creative process and the overall result will be “less creative” because the artist is basically doing it mainly for the money..
Must say looking at this thread most of the works are absolutely beautiful, so maybe I’m wrong..
The only work I ever commissioned is a custom-size Kate Moss artwork from Chris Levine. He and his team were super nice and friendly. My “interference” though was really minimal, considering that it’s an image that existed already. I just chose the size, crop, medium and finish of the image.

Quite nice- his first print- and only A4 only available anymore. Like it a lot. Got me one.

So where was Mr Levine's input?
My Sara Pope commission, all I asked if she could do a frosty blue.. no direction on the lips..
TDF.. Asked Pahnl for a cycling theme..
You have to leave room for artistic license..

Love Sara Pope’s work! I’ve been thinking for some time now about adding a work from her to my collection.
Back to the Chris Levine commission.. I knew I wanted a rather large size work but I wasn’t sure if it will be a lightbox or printed image and I wanted it to float without any frame/border.. which is something different to what he usually does.
I showed him some 3D renderings I was working on showing the piece in context and the other artworks etc and we took it from there.
It was very quick and easy and a dream come true for me 😇
