The printer technology and ink technology has developed to insane levels. Todays high end printers use 12-16 color cartridges so that can match any color. The papers are incredible, inks last no fade 300-400 years. As with anything it is the skill of the people prepping the image / file and the quality of the materials used. You go with a cheap printer and you will have a terrible "edition". That is with any method litho, screen print, or giclee. But just knocking an edition because it is a giclee is wrong.
My belief is anyone buying art is doing a good thing and my type of "people". There are more important things to rip on. Being negative in an art forum is pretty much a "privileged" problem.
Buy what you like but no need to rip on others choices (even buying NFTs :-) )

Takes the art out of making the individual prints (done by the printing house and not the artist but still an art and a skill none the less, POP!NK crushes at this)
