Matt Gondek ๐บ๐ธ Print Release โข Show News โข Art For Sale, by Masong on Apr 19, 2021 9:09:53 GMT 1, I totally disagree about giclee. ย The printer technology and ink technology has developed to insane levels. ย Todays high end printers use 12-16 color cartridges so that can match any color. ย The papers are incredible, inks last no fade 300-400 years. ย As with anything it is the skill of the people prepping the image / file and the quality of the materials used. ย You go with a cheap printer and you will have a terrible "edition". ย That is with any method litho, screen print, or giclee. ย But just knocking an edition because it is a giclee is wrong. My belief is anyone buying art is doing a good thing and my type of "people". ย There are more important things to rip on. ย Being negative in an art forum is pretty much a "privileged" problem. Buy what you like but no need to rip on others choices (even buying NFTs :-) )ย
Iโm entitled to my opinion as much as you are. If you like push button art thatโs entirely up to you. Iโve bought Gicleeโs before and they have never been framed and put on the wall. For that reason I will not buy them again, which I feel is a pretty fair reason.

If I am not mistaken this was created and available at his Japan show earlier this year and Gondek's largest print to date. Larger than most prints so if you are looking for a large print to fill a wall this would fit the bill.

I have no relationship to him at all, I was just passing on what information / knowledge I have from my interactions. I completely agree about COA and verifying the items. I was certain they were legit because of what he shared with me but they were not a match for my collection.
