Crooner was an edition of 150 and the aftermarket sales have been strong. Jullians Auction sold one (it was an AP) for $3,000 USD and several on UAA have sold for over $900 USD. This is a good investment piece from Blek. |

To me, ATA is basically the Tony Blair selfie in stencil form, but with a rat, no?

For me the Blek piece is around the individual and the demise of society as a result. Then the shortsightedness of many who would actually take a selfie in such a situation as that is how self-absorbed we can be....
I do agree there is a lot out there just as there are with many other subject matter, such as people, hearts, graffiti, America Flags  etc....but some done more creatively than others.

IMO the Blek piece differs from Kennard's. In short Kennard is focusing on War and policies surrounding war with a propaganda piece showing a politician reveling in war. A great and powerful piece. For me the Blek piece is around the individual and the demise of society as a result.
