I have dealt with art republic loads of times and they have always been true to their word..ah well!!

I am sure if you have bought from AR before that you must have realised at ยฃ400 it wasn't going to be mint. They are currently selling older unsigned Banksy's for ยฃ1,900 a pop so less than a quarter of this should have rung alarm bells!

Just wondering if its #29/750, if it is its got 3 nasty cracks accross it as it was rolled then squashed. bought it from the bay about 2 years ago, had it framed for a while before giving it to a mate for his wee brother. |

If so the print in question had one nasty horizontal fold that cracked the paper and yes a further two; one off vertical and the other i cannae remember. and never mind the scuff marks and discolouration of the white!

Just got email explaining the Limited Edition numbers, and how they have change over the last few years
Old Banksy prints were an edition of i.e. 750, of that 750 total, 150 were signed, so what happened is we had an excel spreadsheet for turf war starting from number 1 all the way through to number 750, as people bought the prints their name was entered into the spreadsheet against the number they were given.
There were two columns on the spreadsheet one for signed and the other for unsigned and as someone bought a signed print they were allocated the next number but a tick was added in the signed print column, this continued until 150 signed prints were sold.
This was fine when we were selling 2 prints a week and I think you can understand why this is not the system we currently use. Thatโs why the signed prints of Turf War and Monkey Queen are out of 750.
Please advise of any variations to above details.

Be very careful if you try and buy one of these and you will need to know what the real deal feels like and looks like so you can compare. I didnt buy the monkeyqueen one so who knows who has it or even if it is genuine, im 99.99% sure my turf war is. :-)

Bloody seller virtually folds the first roll when rolling to get it in the tube - putting 2 small but visable creases across the image, also dosent think to put a sheet over the front before rolling so the top edge rubs againts the image making minor scratches on the black part. Arrrrggg, considering sending back.

Not really much they can do about that, POW dont wrap them in anything from the start so they all have small marks on them.
I think you will find it will look fine under glass in a frame
