Well I had managed to raise 3 grand.
So once in the que I was trying to decide weather to buy the portraits or tryptych and only go for 2 prints. Or weather I should leave those and go for 3 cheaper prints!

When I got to the counter my mind was made up for me as they had gone already

So i went for 2am Blog, Cold War and Deep End.
i think they work well as a set and will be up on my wall in a row, just like in Elms

Picked Up 2am, Cold War and Bigger Picture - love Bigger Picture's shape... will be looking for the others when I can do though!

Lots of things you don't know bout me Mike! Guess the pm made me look good!! Sadly though no Neate pieces here!!

Aza, I think you're off your head swapping that for a Neate. This mad Neate stampede is a bit out of hand IMO. Keep the CWS and find another way to raise the cash for a Neate, and if you can't afford it.. well, that's how it goes. But seriously, you'd be mad to let that go.

With all the talk about CWSB what do you all reckon a realistic sale price would be for this now as we haven't seen one on the bay for a while?

I have been considering this since the last Neate show.
For me I have been enjoying this print for some years now, and at the end of the day its a smallish print.
To swap in its place a large 3D Neate piece is a good decision. OK you can talk about values and all that shit, but at the end of the day its what I want on the wall that counts.

And its not a mad Neate stampede for me, like I said I have been thinking about this for quite some time. This new show has finally made the decision for me, however getting someone to swap is a whole different problem!

Think about this - you are holding, (well the mrs is) what i consider to be the most defining piece of artwork from this era/movement of artists that is emerging, and the most influential piece of work by Banksy IMO. This image is echoed around in so many pieces following it but none executed in such a hard hitting 'on the button' fashion which captures all that is, within this western civilization! It is in my opinion the Epitome of what Banksy is all about.

I think in years to come when lesser Banksy's are long forgotten about, this will be the image on the front cover of that Art book youve just borrowed from the library, (all be it a digital library)

All Speculation and solely My opinion but seems to me this sums up todays society and direction of peoples beliefs as good as anything iv ever seen!
