Anyone have a photo of a framed damaged Banksy as an example? Must be somewhere on this board over the years... There was that 'Sale Ends' (or was it grannies...) taped to the top of the box the whole edition was in at the L.A. show that someone got their hands on and framed as is not so long ago. The framing looked a bit bulky because the box top was rather deep but it looked great otherwise. |

I just clicked on the link a couple of posts above and you can see there is a black mat framing the sides of the box top out but it's probably still complete as the frame is really deep. |

I have an unsigned Love Rat print for sale. It comes with the Pest Control issued COA and my girlfriend has been the registered owner for two years or so. The print has some light UV marks around the border and a small mark on the back. I had the UV worked on for many months by Graham Bignell to improve the print as much as possible using both lamps and natural light. This is the best condition that he could get it in without bleaching the sheet which he was opposed to doing given the value. He's said that if the new owner wants to, they could archivally frame and hang it and that it should then even out over time.
I think that my base asking price is very fair given that galleries are asking ยฃ10k+ for this. Please send me offers of ยฃ6,500 or more via PM with the amount in subject line to make things easier. Please let me know where you are located, how and when you can pay!
I AM WILLING TO SET UP A PAYMENT PLAN TO HELP YOU OUT!
I WILL NOT reveal the highest offer at any time as I think that is a very opaque practice.

Cool print, am seriously tempted ! Do you have any pre-Bignel photos to see the impact of his work ? No, but Graham was really nice and didn't charge me in the end despite having tried his hand for something like eight months. A good portion of the wait was due to there being no sun for him to try and fix it naturally. I do have an email from him which I can forward to a potential buyer as proof, including my statement that he didn't want to do any more at one point because bleaching the sheet was too risky due to value concerns. I also should have one of those pink receipts he gives out in my cupboard. |
