ha ha, the seller states that the number is on the left hand side, when its on the right or is he looking at it upside down?

He could do with finding the macro button on his camera!

same here is this genuine?? are unsigned love rats numbered on the right?

my rat's have all been numbered on the left .. but doesn't mean it isn't genuine .. it does look genuine & Pow are known for stamping the odd print differently

ok spoke to a previous winner of the auction, who kindly informed me of the following...

he said generally the impression he got was the seller had wanted more money from the auction. the buyer said he asked for his own courier to collect the print for him, to save on some of the rather steep £35 postage charge..however this was rudely refused by the seller, who would not provide him with a correct address or any other information...shortly after the item was relisted. the buyer considered reporting the seller to ebay, but as of yet has not..he said be mindful..

so...?

Mines on the left too, 3rd time up and its been in a non acid free tube for 3 years? Such a shame when people dont store prints correctly and end up damaging them. Would never get the curl out and paper/colour might be effected.

Isn't worth the risk, seems to be a lot of rats up lately.

Id take 'mint' with a pinch of salt, the seller probably doesn't know much about art otherwise he would have stored it correctly and stated the stamp on the correct side. Plus this is the third time its been up so thats a tad dodgy. If its been in a tube for 3 yrs, it'll definitely have a bad curl, something you'll never quite get rid of as the paper would have stretched over time. See bad 'curl' damage all the time on float mounted prints.

Dont feel pressured into a possible dodgy purchase seems to be a lot of good example Rats around anyways, enough ebay sellers know enough to store them in portfolio sleeves etc.

Would think a lot of prints will be coming up this month, people wanna make money for xmas and cash in on the xmas gift market.

looking at completed sales auctions on Rats are going between £600-800 at the mo which is great and no doubt more will be available this month also. Its you call but dont panic buy I'd wait for a decent example, it'll be worth more and you'll be more happy knowing you have a good example not a £600 sub par potentially fake piece, this one screams potential melon to me. Hence the little interest and 3rd auction.

dont believe it, if a print is in a tube for 3 years the strands in the paper warp and it'll have a permanent curl, turst me I've seen it many times, and youll never get rid of it totally. The seller is probably desperate to sell after 3 trys and obviously knows nothing about looking after prints as he's kept it in a tube for 3 yrs! ;D

You seem to be your talking yourself into this one, oh dear, I wouldnt touch it with a barge pole, screams dodgy! Remember A £600 melon doesnt make it a bargain, it makes it a bloody expensive melon!

As I said theres loads going around £600-700 mark, look at the completed sales. Treat yourself to a proper well looked after genuine good example, dont be foolish and rush into a misinformed purchase, it'll be worth it, trust me...

oooooo risky decision! Good luck with it, if by any chance it does all turn out to be ok and is real, its a great print to have, I love mine!

p.s. remember it'll probably always have a curl though!lol

probably for the best, keep an eye on ebay, lots coming up and seem to be going for good prices recently.
