What have you discovered wisky? You claim to have come across an article written by somebody else, alluding to coded messages on some Banksy prints. Yet you can't produce that article. Even if the article exists, YOU'VE discovered nothing. You read about someone else's "discovery" (or theory).

This being the Banksy forum, you'd think people here might know a little about coded messages on Banksy prints. People here get excited when they notice a slightly different signature on their print. Do you not suppose a Da Banski Code style mystery might have attracted, oh I don't know, EVERYONE on here. We'd be all over that like flippers on Whatson prints. Banksy print releases have been quiet of late. We get bored. We'd love a Banksy mystery to solve. If it existed.

But until you can back up your claim, it's a bit like telling someone that you know a guy that saw bigfoot once.

Oh, and please don't swear at forum members. We like a bit of banter now and then, but this is a nice place.

Yes, I've seen those symbols on a couple of gift print. + & X symbols with dots in certain sections of the symbols were there too and mean different things from the bit of research I did.

They're the ones.. And variations of that with only 1/2/3 dots in the various 'sections' of the symbol.

If I remember correctly, the symbol and variations also used to be used on coins, so may have numerical value

The GWB cryptic message is code for 'Buy me now at £150 and in ten years, galleries will be asking £35k for me'

Wisky, have you found the article? give us something to look into, we are normal people, not a forum full of crystal ball gazing columbo esque super sleuths. How do you imagine any of us to "look into it" when we dont really know what we are ment to be looking into?
I have mentioned the coded doodles at the bottom of gift prints to try and help / work out what you are on about, but at least meet us half way and give us a link, some info, something rather than getting frustrated when we have not seen the same article  / web page theory as yourself.
If you are serious about trying to get some assitance and look into this, might be best to cut back on the insults and name calling. As long as you take yourself so seriously, nobody else has to.

Mouser, thank you for the neutral comment, you are right that I need the original link, a few work colleagues and I were discussing Banksy's clacton/folkstone images and viewing them in the studio's PC, when we stumbled upon this article, I have searched the web all weekend to find the link on my home PC to no avail, I'm back at work tomorrow and I'll try to locate it!
As for the insults, theres 10 to my 1..... but looking back, I am coming across as some escaped, rabie infected tourrettes eye wobbler!   Lol!

I'd be genuinely interested in seeing what it had to say, there have been occasional theories over the years regarding symbols etc, not heard anything about hidden imagery in his prints though ( although someone did find Jesus' face in the grass on trolley hunters a few months back, someone with an exceptional ammount of time on their hands it would appear).
On the whole this place is manned by some pretty decent people, most are out for a laugh, sometimes at others expense, you soon grow a thick skin here. There is a lot of knowledge scattered through the forum and its membership, if the truth is out there, its most likely in here too (somewhere)
