H4 an edition of 600 is released to moderate hype and sells out.
H5 an edition of 800 gets released a week later to considerable more hype, with talk of sleeping bags and sarnies.
At this rate H6 will need the Riot squad!

Isn't H4 edition of 300?

Yeah be interesting to see Q4 / Q1 auctions where these pop up and at what price, I don't see them being flipped on this forum. I assume though that if you flip and change the name with Heni, you're blackballed for the next release? Risky to say the least. |

Whys that odd? We're asked to buy based on pdf all the time

It's Heni invites and Tate members only. There was no RSVP for Tate members; we are told to just turn up on the door. |

So won't queue there for 4 hours I doubt it. I was told that Tate are simply going to send on the forms to Heni for processing. In other words, when the event is over they will send all the forms together in one go. |

With H5 released so close to H4...and an edition of 800...the market has been flooded somewhat....Now here's my opinion: due to this, these may not sell with as much of a profit as previous Hirst releases if that's your intention - hence being burnt if you think these will bring (a lot of) easy money. I am more interested in hearing the art market genius explain how people are going to get burned. Care to elaborate, wise ol' Posterbob..? |

However the originals must be amazing and I can understand why he would authorise a reproduction. Once the OGS are gone then there’s no where left to see them. More a reminder of something great than something great with these.

Slightly strange state of affairs to my mind allthough I’m sure he has a strategy.
