Damien Hirst H4 • Veils, by Express Post on Aug 12, 2018 11:10:49 GMT 1, No doubt the Richters will hodl their value. Good for anyone who bought solely for the love of the picture.
But if people are wanting life changing acquisitions, then they should be focussing on originals.
The body count wont be as bad. These are signed and numbered, and aren't too big, so shipping costs on these won't be ginormous. I’ve owned a good number of the richter editions. I still own some of the P editions and works on paper. They are absolute beauties. Editions are an important part of his body of work. Comparing Richter to Banksy is bizarre. The shipping on the larger P editions is significant. However, many collectors outside of this street art forum are more than happy to purchase a large richter for an affordable price. So in the short term people haven’t made money. Who cares. In the long term it will be a different story. They are beautifully produced and look amazing when hung.

I've got a feeling history is about to repeat. What are Heni shipping costs like? Some auction houses charge rip-off prices. In the past, it has been cheaper for me to travel 200 miles to pick up an artwork myself, rather than pay the shipping costs.

Obviously not richter originals. 😂

I received a large create using FL from a great member here - from London to Dublin was I think £2-300, I'm thinking it'll be 400 per print for me

Shipping costs haven’t been announced yet but you can collect. If I remember correctly they charge you £25 as a release fee?

Unfortunately only relying on the pdf I left Gritti and Beverly Hills out of my register interest. Thinking of updating my form to include all 8 (instead of 3,4,5,6,8). I can afford one right now so I guess relying on your feedback, there is no wrong choice on any

This was actually the reason the larger ones appeal to me. I do have a woodcut spot print hanging on my wall and I thought having a similar size of the heni editions would create an interesting play between order and chaos
