I didn`t have issues with Pejac prints so far but from what I remember there were some damaged Heavy Seas which were replaced and same with some Wound prints. As far as I know these guys received a replacement. Ask Max.
The box my forest came in had quite a deep hole in it from delivery but the print survived thanks to its thick packaging. You need some serious power to destroy the box like shown above.
Feel sorry for you and fingers crossed you`ll be able to get a new one.

Indeed. While it is a nice sentiment, allowing buyers to keep a damaged print would compromise the integrity of the edition. There was a discussion about this here a while back.

This seems to happen so often with shipping. Plywood each side of the print is the only way to ship, it costs a little bit extra, but safe.

Whilst good intentioned, it’s a bad idea I’m afraid. It would effect the integrity of the edition size.

Had someone go through a similar claim and were denied and the artist did not foot the bill, which is understandable. Looking at the picture and with my personal experience with claims. It is interesting where the cut is and how deep. Then the paper on one side is completely folded but not on the other. They are going to ask for pictures of the box. Looks like it was cut, then smashed. Issue is proving who cut it, the shipper will try to say it was you. Curious did these not ship with signature required for the cost of them? Good luck, it is a beautiful piece.
