Supply is smaller than demand.....this is called economics. Pejac or Max would not be doing what they do if it would be the other way around. it would be their hobby at the most, not their job.

I have all of Pejacs prints minus Forrest, i did not see the point of it being called some kind of lottery when he still required ยฃ1300 if chosen. Plus i know Max would hand pick many of the owners. For 10K Doret is in the process of getting Dran to paint me a large canvas of his recent sketch 'Chanter'. I could buy Three large Oli Epp canvas and up coming artist like Arno Becks entire collection. The reason Dran ended it with Max is because he's very money motivated and Dran actually paints for the love of Art. I would like to see Pejac under new management, it feels very hypocritical using ''nature'' as a way to request ridiculous amounts of money. I will keep my prints regardless if they increase/decrease in value but this is one hype train i'm off. 10K for a small water colour work, who did i email Monet Lol.  Isabel x

Bugger me, someone needs to stop your baby collecting habit.
I've also struggled with this issue though. Everyone seemingly hates flippers, but no artist will either release their print at market value or go with timed edition prints.
Pejac could have priced these at 3.5k, sold 80 over the course of the show and scrapped the lottery.
Of course, then there is no hype and no golden lottery ticket built into the release. Without the prospect of a couple of g if you win, I suspect most wouldn't bother.
