Produced for high end collectors with 0 taste or any knowledge of the art itself. Only people buying are people who were told to buy from someone that knows nothing about him.
I see his stuff in high end contemporary galleries and always enjoy starting up a conversation to hear the rubbish that starts to spill out of the sales persons mouth.
This is art for uneducated people with money , who stumble upon it in a gallery and make an impulsive buy. Similar to Alec Monopoly.
Anyone who's watched Exit Through knows he was basically denounced as an artist within that film and he effectively turned it into a commercialized brand. He has no real artistic value outside of making money off people with poor taste.
