It's in excellent condition, it comes with a certificate of authenticity from Pest Control, and a paper trail going back to the original POW purchase in 2008 (I am the third owner and I bought it in 2009). IMHO it depends on whether or not central banks get tired of losing tax revenue on all the unreported bitcoin transactions. ie. Every bitcoin millionaire probably owes 300,000 in taxes.. but .. i doubt they are going to go self report. its really the same with every person with a 30K banksy that isnt probably putting that gain on their taxes (do you ?) when selling in a private cash sale.. but .. bitcoin is massively larger than the private art market and governments and central banks may have to respond. do you really favor defunding your local governments so you can play banking games with bitcoin? me personally, i value the central bank and the structure provided so, bitcoin has to be regulated and taxed appropriately at some point.

Be interesting to follow your progress, conceivably by jumping in and out of art and crypto you could go from this to 100k and back again in a year or so.

Bitcoin has an intrinsic value because of the block chain. The block chain is like the invention of the wheel. Its such a big improvement over what we already have so unless somebody invents a better system then its here to stay. The individual coins them selves yes may be bubbles but crypto currencies definitely are not. So what makes Bitcoin better than fiat, which pretty much is a digital currency? Its more secure, I don't have to pay a bank huge fees as a middle man, I can pay anybody anywhere in the world with no hastle and most importantly it can't be quantitatively eased.
