As much as I love the letter itself I would not have paid that much just for the letter sent in bubble wrap and 2 cardboard boxes(timed release), I don't believe that many people would have. Having said that, the box was initially packaging, so if it incurs a little rubbing etc I won't mind but if it is trashed I will be disappointed. I like the birds on the box, it reminds me a little of Scattercrow so I hope it turns up in good nick. As you can tell I have not received mine yet.

I have quite the same issue like idk how to display it... Letter and box belonging to together. Would be great if somebody has an idea.
On the other hand I thought their might be something inside the loveletter. A loveletter never is empty you know... But its impossible to open it without demage it. So I have to leave it close...

- You keep the box and the letter together
- You can show/see both at the same time
- You can open the 'frame' easily and turn the letter

- You must trim about 8mm of the lid, 'destroying' the packaging of the piece

Hopefully not, but I plan to frame it and show it. It's an unusual piece and no doubt people will be like "Dude, what's with the envelope on the wall" "Ahhh my good friend, this is blah blah blah blah". Mine just got delivered to where I'm currently working, FL are exceptional in my opinion. I dropped them a call this morning to let them know and they got it rerouted here.
But yeah, I want to be able to show both sides, ideally without the use of the magnets. I did ask Mr Frameman back around Christmas time so will approach them again after I've seen it to see what is possible. I expect the frame job to be fairly expensive. One other option was to display it in glass, floated... but I don't fancy this being on the fireplace, it needs to be on a wall.

Can anyone confirm if the stencil birds are in the inside or outside of the lid? I've received the box in a perfect state but, without breaking the seal, I see no birds anywhere... Why not open and see? I think you know why |
