Pejac - Love Letter, by BKBOI on Dec 3, 2018 18:32:56 GMT 1, I think this was an excellent use of the medium. This place always has an aversion to timed releases and what they think is a right price for a timed release.
That price will definitely limit the edition size so that might be a good thing.

Pejac - Love Letter, by nobokov on Dec 3, 2018 18:40:26 GMT 1, Nice image, excellently executed. A timed release so no bun fight. Yes it’s 600 quid but that really isn’t that bad. Yeah when you compare it to an unsigned daniel arsham toy at $950, seems okay relatively.

A rat on a chain and another one of some type on the back of a frame i think using the string as a highwire. Ballerina imgur.com/a/hITH5SI Thats the one, great piece, always liked that!

Not putting pejac down but arsham is a much bigger name though.

Pejac - Love Letter, by quinn on Dec 3, 2018 19:29:27 GMT 1, Is that grey frame part of the box? Can't tell from the video. the grey frame doesn’t come with the box. When you remove the foam and glove the grey backing board with the magnets is underneath. I think the idea is you supply the backing board to your framer. I think what I’ll do is slide the front of the box out and replace it with Perspex. That way it’s all on show. I like boxes👍

Pejac - Love Letter, by quinn on Dec 3, 2018 19:32:51 GMT 1, Lovely piece, IMO. Edition size probably won't be huge given the price. Anyone with details on selling the OG? Will it be by auction? the details on the og will be sent out in the next two weeks.

Pejac - Love Letter, by smishdown on Dec 3, 2018 20:10:09 GMT 1, Would take me all of 10 minutes to try to turn it around and damage it. Fan of pejac but price is just too much for such a small piece for me.

Pejac - Love Letter, by coach on Dec 3, 2018 20:21:02 GMT 1, I like it. But, on the one hand, I tend to think that timed releases are usually a way for an artist to get work in to the hands of collectors that can’t afford his of her limited editions or originals. Obviously there is no obligation on any artist to do so, but to my mind that is the way timed releases have tended to appear. I think £600 plus tax plus shipping (I think that’s right) just weeks before the expense of Xmas is not affordable for most. It certainly isn’t for me. I think that’s a shame; an opportunity missed. But then again, I’ve always disliked what often seems to be a sense of entitlement amongst some collectors. And there are a plethora of artists that I can’t afford work by. I’m not sure which of my arguments I prefer. I’m in a quandary, and so I sit on the fence.

Pejac - Love Letter, by Schrödinger's Chat on Dec 3, 2018 20:27:31 GMT 1, I took love letter as saying that this was a love letter to fans, a comment on putting a shed load of effort in to making a beautiful product for fans, although potentially the price point belies this.
