I was quite struck by the documentary "Pixadores", which I attended with Djan present. Doesn't get much more hardcore then this. Also hightly recommended documentary: PIXO

Bargain was picking up two original Muybridge litho sheets for £30 from a provincial auction. The shipping cost me more than the prints.

Or more watches...I always want more watches

Favourite piece you bought in 2018, by crashwilliams on Jan 4, 2019 12:48:45 GMT 1, Mine was the Oli Epp print from his Paris show - a crazy 60 hour motorbike trip from SE London to Paris. I'd only recently bought my motorbike and this was my first trip away from home. It was also good to meet up with one or two (and others) from the Board.

Favourite piece you bought in 2018, by Graham H on Jan 4, 2019 12:58:56 GMT 1, Great pick up on the Lichtenstein.. Lucky to find one with rock solid provenence.. ive been making do with an unsigned set as been led a merry dance on several signed ones..
Interesting to see the framing as you have done it..I tried to keep mine together as close as the original as i could with a thin white metal frame. Yours look great framed like that though...but amazing the different look / feel framing and a mount can give
( apologies for the reflection / colouring ..quick I phone snaps )
In terms of prints my best 2019 are oldies - finally laid my hands on a very good condition autographed Whaam diptych with strong provenance - managed to find a stash of untouched « Mai 68 » prints including a minty fresh CRS SS

For me, it’s a close call but I have to go with the canvas from Euan Roberts Art. I have it hanging in the hallway by the front door and love walking past it multiple times a day.

Favourite piece you bought in 2018, by Matt on Jan 4, 2019 13:22:02 GMT 1, Graham H re:authenticity there is no 100% on these as you know !
Mine has good provenance, and has been inspected by expert restorers to gauge the paper and printing, as well as appraised by 2 big auction houses that would not risk selling fakes (which is why they barely ever list these)...that’s about as close as I can get unless the heirs decide to authenticate again (I wish...)
I really like what you did with the framing, as you pointed out, you are much closer to the original with your spacing and no frills border.
I took the liberty of a spacing them, and visually I don’t regret. This is such a strong image that it stands out pretty much whatever you do.
PS : speaking of non urban, still well jealous of your Indiana Love Quad, looking for one but prices have gone mental since his death :-(
