I think โStillโ is a little bit cheesy but at the same time smart (as unexpected) with a spot-on technic. I can believe itโs done with black pen. It doesnโt leave much room for mistakes!
I am wonderinf if the sketch us the usual A4-ish size.

โSkyโ remains a mystery for the moment. I havenโt yet figured out the meaning. Is it about the emptyness of advertising?
I donโt see it related to Nature or directly to humankind... a bit unusual for Pejac.
Technic wize, as usual awesome. I hope someday we will have closer shots to see each stroke :-) the instagram videos are more detailed but yet not the best to appreciate his skills. Lucky NYer who will probably have it displayed during the next show!

There's a charcoal drawing from 2014 (indoor section on his page). I think the sculpture was done afterwards for the London show. I'm not sure but I think there were no bubbles seen on the 2014 drawing and the man looks different. Finger's crossed he did a new one which can be seen in NY. And I would love to see a print of it. This work is rank 2 in my holy grail list.

I have some difficulty to grasp the importance for current Japanese economy. And I would add the the cultural exception argument is not relevant anymore, especially on such type of political decision.

I think it has been the case since quite a while.
Maybe his new art technics accentuate it? Putting some colors, charcoal, etc.
But i agree we need a more hopeful vision! :-)
