New artist to check out, hundredacreworks, by Wisconinla on Jan 29, 2019 7:08:25 GMT 1, There’s probably a thread dedicated for new artist intros but I couldn’t find it, so here is a local (to me) guy that I think is worth checking out.
Christopher Robin H. His Instagram is Hundredacreworks and that’s how you can reach him. He makes smaller sized unique 3-demensional works that are fun and affordable. Some are a little too R-rated for my walls but that’s just me.
I grabbed a piece of his a couple years ago and finally decided to get another. It’s hard to see the 3D in the pic (at least it is for me, maybe because it looks so good in person) but the field of flowers, the Cthulhu, and the men are all separate individual layers on the back canvas, it’s really neat.
And like I mentioned, it didn’t break the bank ($30).
Maybe some of you will like it.

It’s a sticky thread, at the top of the main board:

Sorry Coach, I still don’t see it. Your link works but I can’t seem to find it on my own, perhaps it’s because I browse via my cellular?
In any event, a moderator should feel free to move this to the right area (although now I suspect phone users will never see it, or many other threads)

No worries. It works fine on my mobile phone. To go to it direct, go to the home page, then the Urban Art section at the top, and it’s then the 6th thread down. Posts in that thread also show up fine using the recent posts method (my preferred way of perusing the forum).

I see it now 🤦🏽♂️
I like to browse by recent threads, the recent posts just confuses me as I usually don’t know the context of the post.
While you’re schooling me, how do I tag someone in a post? Quoting always feels like I’m muddying up the thread.

To tag someone you use a @ before their user name. However, you have to use their original user name as stated on their profile. Many of us have, over the years, changed the name we regularly use from our original username. So, to tag me, it won’t work if you put @coach, because coach isn’t the name I registered with. To tag me you have to use @ dropout (without the space), as that’s the name I originally registered with. It’s easy to see someone’s original user name, by clicking on their profile.
