I quite like it as well but I'm not exactly sure why. I can see where you're both coming from with the Tim Burton and Shel Silverstein vibes. Maybe that's it. Either way, it's definitely a pass for me at that price.

However I think there is a difference between being a prolific Artist as opposed to prolifically releasing editions of 125 some ending at 6k each every month of the year smacks of greed and cynicism. |

It's whether you're happy to stare at the particular image on your wall at that particular price. I feel every time there's a Shrigley thread the subtext is: "how much is it now and how much will this be worth in a few months time". The question of "progression" comes up with all artists yet this is Davids style and it's not going to change anytime soon.. over the next 10 years you can bet there will be hundreds more releases, I just hope he doesn't re-release "classic" images again (like he did with the fucking ace print)

The red is consistent and solid (reminds me of why I liked LITTA) and I like the message. They use tiered pricing like everyone else so it was a bit cheaper then. The Moon has already gone up a tier.
