There must be someway around paying the duty twice for one item.
Ring the customs up before you ship back there might be some way of doing this. What if you purchased a very expensive piece and this happened

Hope they send a fixed one. I know in Canada when you export something (return) you get your refund on import tax/duties - you just have to file for it. |

The box was in a plastic bag, but it was also extremely well wrapped in a lot of bubble wrap. So all in all the box was still perfect.

The dolls still don't correctly fit into the foam though, which is the same experience of other people I've spoken to that own a set. That was ultimately the reason why the ears broke during shipping in the first place.
