Increased print release killed secondary market?, by jp226 on Jun 3, 2019 4:07:20 GMT 1, Os Gemeos & Barry McGee are considered blue chip urban artists - both are prolific in the streets for many years and their works are desirable by collectors. I would take a Barry McGee or Os Gemeos over 90% of the 'street art' that's currently out there.

Mostly about profits , collectors always like limited editions And again flooding the market

The main focus in this scene is banksy and it looks like pest control is getting their act together . Suppose there will be increase in there service costs soon!
fakes catch everyone out , even galleries

Increased print release killed secondary market?, by Daniel Silk on Jun 4, 2019 3:25:14 GMT 1, It goes through cycles with artists becoming popular, the artists cashing in by increasing the releases, then things move on and the demand drops. But give it a year or two and it all comes around again and the older work becomes rare and steadily increases in value.
