Glastonbury Festival, by Prescription Art on Feb 3, 2008 18:56:34 GMT 1, I heard on the radio today that there's no Lost Vagueness at Glastonbury this year. It's been previously described by Michael Eavis as the heart & soul of the festival, and was really the only thing still distinguishing it from all the other scores of festivals around.
I've been to Glasto 12 times, but this year for the first time i've no desire to go. I really think they've lost the plot. I'm off to Sziget in Budapest & Numusic this year.

The guy who actually ran Lost Vagueness has jumped ship but it is being renamed Land Of Wierdness or summit like that and with the exception of the Chapel and Casino which will be gone everything else will basically be the same.
The same people who book the secret acts for the ballroom are still there so the tunes will be of the same calibre.

Glastonbury Festival, by spenie1975 on Apr 6, 2008 21:54:02 GMT 1, Was there in 2005, hard work getting from stage to stage with the mud. Enjoyed the whole experience and passed the shark fins. But going to pass on this and maybe try latitude. www.latitudefestival.co.uk/home/ Isle of White always looks a good one and better weather.

read this morning that bestival has nearly sold out, not sure if it's true but worth mentioning.
yeah, good point - that's highly likely to be honest, with that line-up! however when people buy this far in advance you'd often likely to pick up tickets on the secondary market, redmist.co.uk etc nearer the time if you do miss out...

Glastonbury Festival, by angryboy on Apr 7, 2008 10:54:37 GMT 1, I got them unfortuately, about 9.05am too. Don't want to go but it's the festival the gf and my mates have chosen and so I've been caught up in all - not that I've not loved it when I've been but I can't face another mud bath. I must've been one of the only folk F5ing and hoping I didn't get through.
I'm thinking of going for a refund now though as I may have convinced the missus not to go.

Daniel Silk โข The number or Boards and Threads continues to fall as we simplify the layout of the forum.
Daniel Silk โข I hear a lot of Artists complaining about Instagram in the past year, how it used to be a good tool for Artists, but it's not good anymore, is that true?
anyaart โข For Brett Kern fans, I noticed there is a spinosaurus for sale on E-Bay. It's a limited edition, one of only 60 made. This is the rarest of his dinosaurs. I am not the seller. I already have the same dino purchased in 2016. I've never seen one up for sale
Daniel Silk โข Apology โข Sorry I have been offline this past few weeks, due to a very bad Fever. I'm slowly getting better, step by step, and catching up with things here on the forum on the days I'm well enough. Thank you for your understanding.
Boy Wonder โข I read that they were more or less nicked the same day they went up. Loads of fakes exist.
milou2 โข Would love to see any photos of Banksy's first exhibition at the Severnshed in Bristol (2000). Who was there?*
jirr โข Hi all, over here in the states. Pandemic put me out of business, need to sell this asap. Please send offers thanks so much
matgab โข Steven Harrington - Gotcha first ed for sale.
1nkling โข I can't help but think that a more reasonable tier for people who just want to support the work you guys do would raise more income. Then other tiers for those that want specialist benefits.
1nkling โข As soon as I saw the heading for the email I thought 'Oh yeah, I use that place a lot. I'd happily support it'. Not at ยฃ40 a month though. I have a paid sub for a Formula 1 site I use that is very active. They have a high uptake on subs at ยฃ12 a year.
1nkling โข Pricing on the new supporters sub seems a bit poorly thought out. ยฃ40 a month to have a pinned sale thread being the only listed benefit?
Daniel Silk โข The forum now has more than half the number of Boards than it had a year ago! As we work towards simplifying the layout.
ashj52 โข Hi everyone; does anyone know where I may be able to find a George condo prism print? Any guidance on price would also be much appreciated! I contacted AA, they said they cannot disclose whether there will be any further drops this year.
