Reasons why the posters are almost definitely NOT by Banksy... 1. They are a South American company promoting South American artists. 2. They are printed in garish day-glo colours. Does B ever do this? 3. There are different colourways of the same image. Does B ever do this? 4. Banksy's work is very political and often features humour. I'm not sure I see either of these things in these posters. 5. Banksy make his message very obvious, sometimes taking a sledgehammer to crack a nut. Is there a message to these posters? If so it is very subtle. Banksy does not do 'subtle'. 6. One of the images is a copy of a photograph. Does B ever produce artworks from making a print out of a photograph? 7. If these prints are by Banksy then why did he only do 2 of the 4 available? Surely he would do all 4 ... or none at all. 8. The fact that Banksy may have curated Terminal 1 does not mean he had anything to do with the posters (see 7 above). 9. The fact that there was a Banksy inflatable at the festival does not mean he also produced some posters as well. 10. Banksy always acknowledges when he produces something, even postcards and t-shirts. If these posters really are by him why hasn't he acknowledged as such? Have I missed anything?

That seller was the first idiot to put a ridiculous price on them. Everyone followed suit after that which probably led to most of the cancellation of orders. Made me really hope that they aren’t banksy even though I have one on the way from a member on here.

We all know we've all been keeping an eye on them, we used to just make fair agreements here for those that missed out - not keep trying to rip each other off!
I too believe the seller whom cancelled on a lot of us is too among us,

They employ their house style on posters designed by all artists. So not surprising, and maybe even a good reason they would have been used for these.

Yes. Many times. Especially test prints and APs. Also Morons, Trolleys, Flags, some of the rat prints, etc.

The 2 in question are both very political. Boarderline is a very political image and a clever bit of semi humorous text.

Is the child being pulled/lowered over a boarder wall not a "sledgehammer" image? I've no idea how this could be seen as subtle!

Yes. Almost all his prints are either traced from existing photographs, or directly photo montages. Applause, Flags, Nola, I Fought the Law.

To finish on this good note, the « rumored Banksy » on eBay ( and with this flipper Xiite mocking us since the beginning : is he the rumor ?), should stop, as poor guys on EBay are still bidding crazily. One of the biggest scandal since a while. How to stop it ?
