From others I've seen Diana's head looks off, where it meets the serial number down the side and some of the lettering/wording just doesn't look right. This would go against it being a cheap colour photocopy scam, but a more elaborate one.....Which wouldn't surprise me with some of the sums I've seen these notes fetch....Crazy prices for something than can't be authenticated!

i would never buy anything like that off the bay simply because i remember when i first cut a stencil it was a banksy rat and i sprayed it on a road sign so even if the seller believes it to be real it probably isn't :/
nice way to make a quick buck tho eh...

The 'i' in the word ultimate is in a lower case on my original note so I think it would be hard to spot from the photo. I have two of these notes that are original and would be happy to post pictures on here for members to see.
I'm just in the process of figuring out how to frame them. Awkward to frame mount as they are so small but even harder to float mount as I don't want to stick anything to the back as it's obviously double sided. I've read that allowing perspex to touch the notes shouldn't damage them as it is inert so I may do that.
Tough call.

He wouldn't tell me what the 'unique' identifier was on the back label or anything else about it. All very cryptic and suspect in my opinion. The bottle itself contains an amber film round the inside to look like liquid, but it's still obviously hollow, bar the rag in the top. Then the lable is colour print simply stuck on.
Unless somebody out there knows way more than I do about these bottles, which I'll be happy to shown, then I'm genuinely shocked people have paid £260 for something they believe to be a 1/30 Banksy sculpture, which with proven provenance would sell for WAY more.
Maybe they got a bargain....But I have my doubts!
When the next one appears, it'll probably go for more....As now there's a precedent in eBay history, which someone will use to convince themselves it's a real steal!

My thoughts are that they are very sus indeed.... The first seller must be very lucky as he sold a banksy road sign then finds a bottle...SOme people have all the luck me thinks.... NOT
The second one knows little about art but then finds out its a banksy limited edition........Lives away from the area just happened to be in Bristol on the day when they were put out and has taken nearly 2 months to put it on the bay right after the first one ends on the bay......
Too suspect me thinks
