Best UK Postal/Courier Service for Art , by detail on Aug 10, 2019 21:39:56 GMT 1, Hi All,
I need to post a print to someone which is something I have not done before, so I am looking for some advice on which is the best postal service/courier to use.
It's an unframed print so it will be sent in a thick cardboard tube, the same one it came in from the publisher, which is 80cm long and 11cm diameter. Based in the UK and sending it to a UK address. Print value approximately ยฃ250.
Any recommendations on who to use/who to avoid appreciated.
Thanks.

Best UK Postal/Courier Service for Art , by John The Badgers on Aug 11, 2019 18:52:29 GMT 1, I would add APC Overnight, have used them quite a lot, never had a problem. Larger items you can add 'fragile', this means its handled individually, and not put on a sorting belt at the centres.
I use them through work, so have a bit of history on how they handle things, and always been impressed.
Rates reasonable, you can arrange deliveries and collections.
I recently sent something rolled, and in the cardboard tube, put it in a cheap length of plastic drain pipe from B&Q, easy to seal the ends, bullet proof!
