Join us for The Artist's Studio, our new series of evenings hosted by Doyle's Director of Contemporary Art Angelo Madrigale in one-on-one conversations with some of the best and brightest talents in the art world today.

South Bronx native and Graffiti Art legend Carlos “MARE 139” Rodriguez is an innovator, pioneer and educator who helped bring urban art to new frontiers and new audiences. MARE is a 2011-12 New York University Steinhardt Hip Hop Education Center Scholar in Residence, a U.S. State Department Cultural Ambassador, and a member of the Cornell Hip-Hop Collection Advisory Board. MARE’s work has been shown at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Grand Palais in Paris, and the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, with works recently acquired by MoMA for their print and drawing collection.
