They didn’t say. I used the same chain (I forwarded it to the Gmail account) that they had first sent to say authentication approved and to pay which also included my follow up emails so they could clearly see my correspondence as well as including screenshots of payment. I also mentioned I was writing from Gmail in case they never received my messages/went to spam. But they never confirmed if that was the case. However I presume so since they wrote back so quickly this time saying that they looked into it and that account’s confirmed I’d paid at the beginning of the year.

Out of interest did they send a tracking number to you for the COA when it was dispatched or not?

I sent Pest Control 2 Change of Ownership requests back in Aug 2020.

They replied (for both pieces) in Jan 2021 to request additional info (images of edition number, signature and photo ID next to edition number) and confirmation from me and the seller of the ownership change. And we sent everything back to them within the week.

A few days later I got a reply from Pest Control for one of the 2 pieces to say "we will be in touch regarding this request once all of our due diligence checks are complete", but no reply about the other piece.

It's now more than 3 years since the original Change of Ownership for both pieces, and I've followed them up several times, as has the sellers, and I've tried from different email accounts (gmail etc) but still no reply.

Is this normal? Does anyone have any advice? Should I be concerned if/when I want to sell one of these?

They confirmed before that the pieces looked correct, but just haven't confirmed ownership change.

I have all registered change of ownership for HAND piece ... very prompt to response requesting a better close up of the edition number .... but now silence !

I have provided everything they needed but they haven't acknowledged any further emails to confirm all  is good .... hope i don't have to wait 3 years  .....although not planning on selling

Seems to be the norm the last couple of years unfortunately (see posts above in this thread). I would send another email to chase it up though, good luck

Well said! Pest control is an absolute joke and i don't know of any other business who would be in operation if they acted like this. It kills me to read questions like it's been 2 years since their last reply or 3/4 years and "is this normal" - WTAF it shouldn't be more than a week or two to respond to an email - too many people give them too much grace period. It has certainly put me off wanting to add anymore banksys to my collection and if I am wholly honest I am surprised by the man himself over this shambles of a company, but I am glad he is giving his VIP group first dibs on new pieces so they should be happy (this is said using a sarcastic tone). Man up, sort out your PC company and release a bloody print that average joes may have a shot of buying!

PC are... well they're trying to do a job. Look simple and sounds simple.... if only.

Not everything - read that one word again a few times and perhaps something might light up on at least one cranium..
Not everything depends on them.

I'd guess that they are not working in series..... Send out a slew of emails on a relatively regular basis - and can't follow them all up.

I got an email from them a few weeks ago - 'hey can you confirm you have sold this print - read these details ! '. Have i got back to them ?
Ah well no. Why not... oops am i the problem - well no , things take time. In my case .. like you ... not everything can be done that day... I have a lot of my tiny plate.

If i get back to them with anything incorrect the person who started the chain will be most miffed. I'm key to this chain now and need to make sure when i say is TOTALLY right... including what they've asked.

If it's not then the new owner/gallery or auction house... might be in a place they'd really not wish to be.

As you read - it's not all PC - it's everyone else... and the rest.

That would equal about 20ish per day. Doesn't sound like an impossible task, or am I missing something?

Sadly I'm still waiting. I did follow them up in the new year but again I've had no reply. Pretty dissappointing.

I can’t imagine they work weekends! 😉 Assuming an average of 20 working days per month we are looking 35 or so a day then.
