I didn't hear back after three months of filling out the forms and sending millions of photos with lots of relevant info. I sold the piece in the end and the new buyer got a coa within three weeks (which is still shite)

Don't think there's an obsession over changing a name. If POW have your prints registered in the previous owners name on their database then in their eyes your prints still belong to him/her and not you. Just a wise thing to do to ensure they recognise that you're the rightful owner. |

Good to get it sorted though.....

We both got responses the day after we wrote. He recieved his COA over in LA within a week and I recieved mine in NYC within 2-3 weeks. Not much rhyme or reason I gather. Patience is a virtue.

They are normally pretty responsive to emails, dumb question, but you have checked the email address you are sending to is the right one and there isn't a reply sitting in your junk mail? An email was first sent in 1971 for god sake and was made more commercial in the early 1990s - 20 years ago. I find it hard to fathom why people still have problems.
Do these people still own black and white tv licenses?

I'm not sure of a way without having the full details of the coa and most sellers wont share that until the moneys paid in case its used fraudulently. If everyone reregistered their Banksys in their name when they buy them then that could be checked but I'm not sure many do reregister or even know to. I guess to reduce the risks the buyer could pay a 10% deposit to prove sincerity and the seller may then be willing to share the coa info for checking before the balance is paid. |

I'm sure PC will love me for that solution but it would help in the prevention of fakes on the market.

1) Submitted info, providence and pictures on 20th June in the morning
2) Received a response from Pest Control less than two hours later confirming authenticity and asking me to pay for the COAs. I sent payment immediately by paypal
3) Received the COAs by recorded delivery to Turkey on 1st July
Pest Control even issued a partial refund as I had overpaid slightly on the delivery. Overall an extremely efficient and pleasant experience.
Just thought I would mention my own experience of applying for COAs from pest control for two prints.

Second time it was just a name change in the registry. That took about 3 months. (Right after Boti)
Last time it took them 3weeks (i had applied for a coa). There was something 'wrong' so i stayed in contact with Pest for another 10days and they gave me updates every day. All worked out fine and they were a great help sorting stuff out. Then they issued the Coa and told me it will be with me in 2 weeks.
Pest did a great job on all 3 applications!
