Fan of Pejac here and I love reading critical thoughts on artists... and I think the criticism appear somewhat fair, somewhat not - because we ve seen and know he s capable of being very creative and fresh in in the wide variety of materials he uses and works he has produced. We expect more of that and haven't seen much of it in the last 2 years, but that doesn't mean he s not working...

I don't think his instagram posts are all representative to what will be at his exhibition. I have no information to back that. Many photos are not what he is currently working on. This has been discussed in the Pejac section a while back.

But also there is nothing wrong with continuing with themes that made us interested in the first place while he expands his market to new and unfamiliar audiences.

There is an irony however that people will be flying to NY to buy art from an environmentally conscious artist. Hardly helps the global warming cause. Maybe he should think more outside the box and create a virtual show. Or he asks people attending to offset the carbon by planting trees etc

I just bought my first Pejac, a small drawing. I think his works are very thought provoking. I also enjoy his technique.

Got to say I disagree, I quite enjoy pejacโs work and the theme.
I donโt think everyone on the forum is bored with his work. From what Iโve seen people seem a little unhappy with how heโs being managed, I donโt know enough to be able to pass judgement on that though.

There is and has been a lot of Pejac for sale over the last 12 months. It does feel like people are cashing out but the art collecting scene does move fast and the flavour of the month changes.. monthly ๐

I've heard some rumours, but don't now anything for sure. The show has been delayed a few times already. The reason is for what I think because of Pejacs perfectionism. I hope and believe that they will spend the money they've earned from love letter and Yin/Yang to make one hell of a show in NY. And the #pejacnewyork pieces I've seen so far looks absolutely cracking, can't wait!
Saving up my last few airplane trips in 2019 to keep my co2-quota down and complete my new york trip in 2020. Gogogo Pejac! ๐๐ Is any more information what date out? Have a dream going to NYC atleast once in my life...so why not try to comebind... I've heard some rumours, but don't now anything for sure. The show has been delayed a few times already. The reason is for what I think because of Pejacs perfectionism. I hope and believe that they will spend the money they've earned from love letter and Yin/Yang to make one hell of a show in NY. And the #pejacnewyork pieces I've seen so far looks absolutely cracking, can't wait! |

Itโs pretty basic to not expand beyond the marketability of what made you relevant until you have MAXimized your audience. Would be interesting to know how many people who do not live in New York will make it to the show?ย Doubt for 1 moment anyone who has been to any of his show's or bought any of his art, gave as**t about the climate or their carbon footprint in doing so, or have made any changes to their lifestyles or had an awakeing from it.ย ย How does Pejac intend to get the art that is being created for this show, to his show?ย Will he after he produced them in his studio in Barcelona, then put them in a rowing boat and row them all the way to New York himself, and help to reduce his carbon footprint and preach what he teaches?ย Or will he wrap them in plastic, then packaged in non recycled wood, then put them in a big f**koff plane and then fly them over there, along with himself and his entourage. Yeah there you go, he uses climate/global issues to cash in.ย Not like his fans are going to challenge him because they have the same ethos as the artist - money
for someone who is named ayahuasca you sure are ranty...was the ayuhasca mixed with chakruna?
