shop.grossdomesticproduct.com/pages/terms-conditions
" If an item is offered for sale on the secondary market before receipt, or if GDP reasonably believes that it might be offered for sale before or after receipt, then GDP reserve the right to no longer fulfil the order to that customer.
We will not issue a Certificate of Authenticity for an item until the second anniversary of the date of purchase. Certificates will be sent to the purchaser at the delivery address for the relevant item. Please be sure to tell us if your details change.
Emails, invoices and receipts from GDP do not constitute Certificates of Authenticity.
Applications will be grouped by the item selected and by time period (relating to the date and time they are received by us). One or more time periods per item will be selected at random by an independent third party and only applications received during the selected time period(s) will proceed to vetting. An independent judge will examine the tie-breaker questions and select those applications which the judge finds to be the most apt and original (in the sole opinion of the judge). The number of applications selected by the judge will correspond to the stock of relevant items available for purchase."

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by pfffffffffft on Oct 18, 2019 17:49:00 GMT 1, I can't see BBay being an auction house simply because of the extra layers of legislation and compliance POW would need in place. Imagine it'll be fair gallery pricing instead. We have the same problem in the US. All they need to do is hire on a licensed auctioneer to get around it.

The first part sounds like COAs could be refused if the item is resold before the 2 years. (I doubt that though)
The second part, the selection process, is oddly complicated. Why not just randomly select winners from throughout the application period, rather than just from a selected time period? If anything, it's more likely to reward someone crafty enough to make multiple entries all around the same time period.

I mean this isn’t really true. Hints that they may not give a secondary owner a COA if the item changes hands in first two years I guess? But it seems like they are automatically sending the COA without asking...

Or simply get multiple people at different addresses to apply on your behalf and work it out if they're lucky enough to get the email to buy. Which they most probably wont be. Like hundreds of thousands of others.

This first act reminded me of a time I took some acid and thought I'd died, fractals and strange colours going on. Filming oils combining using macro photography, was quite odd. It was a support act so well see about the next one.

There could be just 'one' not more (massive time period) : official open of shop to official close. Then again, who knows if a 3rd party is Used or what happens behind the scenes.

To put you out of your misery, i think you are thinking this right. Almost everyone has gone for the "easier option to win". i believe Banksy mentioned FOMO somewhere along the way too. The odds on the low edition original pieces are probably as**tload less than you would expect, and its possible they are the same or better.
