BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by Deleted on Oct 4, 2019 13:56:24 GMT 1, I must say banksy always seems to come up with a new idea that seems quite obvious after he does it. Great at connecting the otherwise simple/normal idea and merging into an intriguing art concept.
Has your name been hacked?
Congratulations, I am proud of You !
It's the first positive thing i have ever seen you say about this artist
Don't stop now, keep going :-)

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by Lazarus II on Oct 4, 2019 14:28:34 GMT 1, Can anyone confirm the Cushions are the only unsigned edition pieces that will be available? Basing information off of the accompanying placards. each cushion will be farted on prior to dispatch. I am assured that banksy will do the farting himself as opposed to employing Paul Insect or Ben Eine to assist.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by Monsieur2T on Oct 4, 2019 14:46:28 GMT 1, I'm at the store now. Obviously there's some great stuff behind the windows but absolutely the best thing about it is observing the reactions of the random cross-section of Croydon society who happen to be here with me. It is incredibly successful at catching the attention of passers-by, provoking reactions and initiating conversations between complete strangers. The security guard characters are very chatty and help to encourage this atmosphere. I can't think of another artwork/collection/installation/whatever-this-is that I have seen which has been so successful at involving people who obviously have no wider interest in art/installations/whatever-this-ises. For this reason, and even though the daylight makes it almost impossible to take decent photos, I'd encourage people if possible to come during shopping hours. No freebies though, sadly. Well said. Just left and it was a lovely atmosphere. No shoving, no big queue, everyone being friendly and polite and enjoying the spectacle. Several things I didn’t notice from just looking at photos, like the balaclava lamp and the fact the wooden toy refugees include a doctor and a scientist. I noticed a spelling error on one of his signs so I’m going to write a sternly worded letter. Anyone have Banksy’s address?

'Pursuit' was spelled as 'Persuit' on, I think, the goldfish.

Yes Loother agree with lots of this...am pleased to say the random conversations and people being stopped in their tracks was still happening at 10pm as I guess there are people to and from pubs and restaurants etc with no clue it was happening or indeed what it is. I haven't stopped thinking about it today and will definitely try to go down a couple more times as I am quite close. Would urge anyone an hour or so away considering it to get down there, maybe combine with a London gallery show you like.
There are only 5-6 windows but there is a lot going on and a lot to take in if you are a big fan. And definitely better in the flesh than the pics.

Some of these items are really going to throw his market through a loop, haha. Going to be a wild ride. People asking 10k for a signed coffee mug crafted by a child....
