They asked everyone turning up whether they were a forum member who had mentioned on this forum that they were going to croydon? In case anyone important is listening, EKAP is going to GDP tomorrow at about 6pm - sadly neither of his teenage offspring could be encouraged to join him but he'd love a poster. 
stand by this sentiment. Ekap has been interested in banksy and the whole urban art and graffiti movement. Security when you see this if a chap pops along in his I think 50s or mature looking slim and is eyeing a poster like the little kids out of Oliver eyeing up food then sort him out purleasssse.

It had the same 'Banksy-feeling' as Dismaland and the artworks are amazing. We were there also during the night and that is indeed the best time to go there.
So if you have time to go, DO IT before it's gone
After that we tried to visit some street art galleries in London, but most of them were closed (their websites says something different). Lazinc was open, and there were some awesome live created artworks in there by Ludo, Vhils, Miaz Brothers, Remi Rough, Okuda and more.... also go there!

I remember at xmas when seawatch three was stuck out at sea for more than three weeks and reading all the updates but at the same time there were thousands of troll comments about letting them drown etc on twitter it was horrific to read grown adults posting the most sickening thoughts
However i think art is a brilliant way of combating this and getting people talking so i think artists can make a huge impact and change the discourse for the better

This could easily generate revenue of 10 million quid - not sure how it's taxed if all charitably donated but either way its going to do some incredibly good things. Makes the whole thing even more special.

As if there buying ten pendant tees or ten cans there going to flip it while it's wet or quicker than posterbob can get down food Bank in a famine.

I just spoke to the security guys today.
They seem to be hired for short periods of time.. a shift or 2 at a time. They all said it was one of the best jobs they had had.
They were all very clear. No kid. No poster.
I went solo (kids at school) and came away empty handed.. Apart from a cracking time. Cracking memories and some fabulous photos.
The security guys could not have been more charming and I believe them when they say they know very little indeed. I also believe them when they say Banksy is a genius and that he has a plan.
