Aside from the work itself I was struck by the engagement that casual observers were taking. There were two old girls discussing the life jacket and the scandal behind that, and two kids discussing the boy under the ‘cursor’ attack, and how that probably related to cyber bullying. I’m making sweeping assumptions here, but neither couple seemed to be gallery visiting types and yet the debate they engaged in was as interesting and nuanced as any you’d hear elsewhere. We can patiently (or otherwise) wait for the shop to open (Jesus I’d love one of those cans) but that’s not the point is it. He’s done it again. Art can make you think, and should be accessible to all. Nobody (currently) does that better than Banksy. Simple as. The piece I don't get yet is the brick handbag, is it like a molotov cocktail for females?

Women’s handbags being perhaps the quintessential socio-economic badge of belonging.

I thought all along the website hasn't been expected to open until the storefront "closes" after like 2 weeks... so ~1 week more? |

Loved the Store, loved the Art and, as mentioned by someone earlier, it is nice to see how people react, interact and take time to look for all the details.
My daughter got a rat poster which will go on the wall straight away.

For my favorite, I would choose the Early Learning Counting Set and the gravestone. ELCS for its use of a kids innocent counting toy as a direct and and poignant representation of the current migrant situations around the world. I also really like the gravestone (You Have Reached Your Destination). More of a personal connection with that one and I like to think of their passing's as the completion of a long exciting journey.

ELCS for its use of a kids innocent counting toy as a direct and and poignant representation of the current migrant situations around the world. I also really like the gravestone (You Have Reached Your Destination). More of a personal connection with that one and I like to think of their passing's as the completion of a long exciting journey.

My sister died last year, and I vividly remember standing at her grave, thinking 'Everything she ever did in her life, all the trials and tribulations, the laughs, the tears, the love, all the personal relationships and drama, all the people she met, every aspect of her life... all led to this point. This place in the ground. And she will move no more.* It's quite a lovely piece. I think we get warned of worst case scenario due to propaganda, and people genuinely looking out for ya.
But 99% of the time, if ya got a good head on your shoulders you will be fine in most places.

These guys are stupid. They are actually selling them as posters when they are actually a screenprint. Anyone that actually has one take a closer look. The Only way you can get a picture on that fragile piece of paper is by Screenprinting And it is more cost-effective
