I'm trying to quit smoking. What were your tips? I watched different videos and read a scary book, tried to replace cigarettes with vape. Now I'm still trying to quit. I chew nicotine gums from Canadian pharmacy from time to time. But still feel I want to light a cigarette.

If I might add one thing : DON'T TELL ANYONE !!
And don't tell anyone you stopped smoking for 1 week , 2 weeks, 1 months , 3 months.
YOU DO NOT SMOKE. PERIOD.
As long as you keep counting and thinking about how long you are not smoking you are still an addict.
STOP SMOKING. And then you just don't smoke.
Personally I think it's not good to wait until January 1.
That's just another excuse to keep smoking for 6 more weeks.
Which means you are not motivated.
If you are serious , throw away that crap now.
Smoking has zero benfits. It's mostly a habbit.
After dinner , after sex, during a break.....
If you need a break, have a break. Take a walk. Have a cup of tea. There is no need to inhale toxic smoke.
YOU CAN DO IT !!
