This is not a classic Banksy, it's a relatively new image. Also not inspired by Basquiat, but rather a play on some of his imagery.

Estimates are simply useless at this point, speculation from everyone

Banksy Basquiat Print, Gross Domestic Product™, by tab1 on Dec 12, 2019 3:18:10 GMT 1, Maybe prices steadying off in the real world, only auctions tend to attract the high prices when the same turn up on the general market they seem to stick around for ages now, thought the v2 sales end would be much higher than what they go for , the ones that turn up seem to stay unsold for ages , two years back print listed would be sold within two days and instantly in some cases

Do you think that sticker in itself is a cool piece of Banksy art? I think it'd be a rad thing to frame on its own.

Banksy Basquiat Print, Gross Domestic Product™, by chefd on Feb 26, 2020 22:45:21 GMT 1, Would you all frame the thrower as GDP I'm leaning towards simple slim black frames.... but that all depends on what actually shows up. Will the central thrower image bean oval as seen on GDP or will it be a rectangular print?

I was thinking either a simple grey with white board or try to replicate the 3 gdp frames which I actually like but it will be a task to find there twins . Your right it may arrive oval which I never though of 🧐.
I think the basquait will look a real head turner on the wall looking forward to seeing them when the winners post

These seem to both be the black versions... because the Grey has a boarder (at least on the GDP website). Or is it the other way around? But maybe in reality that changed, like the font on the mats, and neither has a boarder... confusing!

Banksy Basquiat Print, Gross Domestic Product™, by whatisart on Feb 27, 2020 13:55:36 GMT 1, my Banksquiat arrived in black. i am excited to say the least, but (maybe surprisingly), a bit stressed too.
i've never owned a piece of art work other than my own so i'm a bit lost as to what to do.
from what i gather, the steps should be something like:
1. appraisal 2. find an insurer 3. get it framed
my issue is that i am petrified to even take it out of the box! (lol...)
at any rate, if any of you helpful folks have any experience dealing with a similar situation, i'm curious the approach.
the other issue is even finding an insurer. in the UK it sounds like Hiscox is king. in the US, it doesn't seem to be as clear cut.
thanks!

Can anyone clear up this earth shattering question so I can get back to work rather than thinking about the colour variation of a bloody print.
