Art Basel โข Miami, Hong Kong, Paris, by cjwhitey on Nov 7, 2018 15:45:57 GMT 1, This will be my 5th or 6th time in Miami for Basel weekend. I stopped going to the main fair years ago and have opted to spend much more time in Wynwood and the satellite fairs.
I stayed in an Airbnb on Collins in Miami Beach in 2016 and walked to all the events we attended in Miami Beach and Ubered to all the events we attended in Wynwood. The Ubers were very affordable (especially since we opted to do pools since most people are going to the same areas).
This time, I'm staying in an Airbnb in Brickell. Right now, I'm planning to do Art and CONTEXT Miami on 12/7, SCOPE on 12/8 (I'll look for you Carl Cashman & fonebone45), and spend 12/9 in Wynwood. I made some dinner reservations and will likely be participating in some nightlife all weekend, as there is always a lot going on.

I think we'll be using up about 8 VIP passes with artists coming down etc. But will still have a handful available if anyone would like one.
Shoot me a message or email me at graeme@hashtaggallery.com if you're coming down for Scope.
I think I need to submit names for the VIP and day passes, and they send off a link over Eventbrite.

TICKETS/VIP INVITATIONS
The TICKETING page in your ERC contains codes for all of your complementary passes. Please read the instructions under each section carefully!
Using the Eventbrite portal on this page, you can easily send complimentary tickets directly to your guestsโ inboxes. Utilizing a smart device or printed Eventbrite ticket, they can skip the queue and expedite their entry to the show. To ensure that your guests successfully receive their tickets and to avoid ticket fraud from guests forwarding your promotional code or taking multiple tickets, you must individually enter in your guestsโ information, one at a time.
Each Exhibitor is allotted 10 Platinum First View tickets, 20 VIP Preview tickets, and 20 Day Pass tickets. Once all your tickets have been claimed, the code will no longer be active. Keep in mind that each Platinum and VIP Preview ticket admits two guests per ticket (one registered invitee +1) for the entire duration of the show and each Day Pass ticket admits only one registered invitee for one day.
So if anyone is looking for VIP Preview tickets, or day passes, feel free to DM me. I'm heading down from Toronto, so we won't know all that many people to give passes to other than the crew of about 8 coming with us, and a couple collectors.

We get very few VIP passes and all are allotted already, but know the big SCOPE party is going to be the one to catch. Hi-Fructose is on board to curate the entry installations and some fun stuff throughout the fair itself on Miami Beach.

This is my first time for art week in Miami. I'm excited and a little anxious about the volume! Should be fun anyway. I'm also checking out Untitled Art Fair, and I have VIP to the main Art Basel. Aside from these and SCOPE, are there any must-sees?
Tomokazu Matsuyama has just completed a mural at Wynwood Walls - really looking forward to seeing that.
