Banksy Welcome Mat, by Inknart on Feb 4, 2021 21:28:59 GMT 1, I heard mention that 500 emails were sent out this morning but only for an allocation of 100 mats. Anyone heard anything like this as well? Maybe they aren't even releasing 500 each round of emails?
They said in an email to a friend recently, " We may release another run, we may not, sign up for future releases and information."
If they were planning on ending these at a specific Number, it would make sense for them to do 100 at a time, to draw more signups/attention while extending if they know what number they will stop at.

That was my first thought as well. I was able to get mine around 830 am CST this morning. |

IMHO these are random selections.
The only and first "Banksy" purchased at source, though I have a few "souvenirs" from my stay at the WHO in 2019.

They have no obligation to give you a version of this mat. Do i care how many are made? I do. the more the merrier because that was the point of this whole project, to raise money for refugees, not line your pockets with some banksy tat. So if you didn't get one today (or if you got an email and missed out), there's always next time.

Well my original intention was to share a screen shot of the item description, but as I was on break at work it was much quicker to simply share a link.
As it is common knowledge that there is a freely available second hand market of these mats, I did not feel that the availability of one on ebay was ground breaking news, everyone knows they are there, but rather the sale of a mat from this round of production before they even shipped was a tad audacious.
Either way, I'm excited I'm getting one from the charity as they were intended 😀
