Go for one you like the look of more. I sold one of my first editions to get a later edition i liked the look of more and that is the one i framed.

I have both versions, both exactly the same besides tag being sewed on back vs hanging. 0 difference between first 500 and the later ones. Go for one you like the look of more. I sold one of my first editions to get a later edition i liked the look of more and that is the one i framed. |

Iโm guessing the lack of ability to easily frame or the fact some people canโt digest the idea makes them cheaper
Without a doubt as a numbered banksy work they will do well long term
Wholly reccomend anyone who doesnโt own one and is thinking of spending stupid money on a poster like MP or soup can gets one of these instead
Also if clicking on an eBay link helps pay for this forum that Iโve used for decades for free than more than happy to oblige

I have been on the waiting list since Day 1 and find it utterly, totally, and completely insulting that flippers on UAA have somehow landed five of these and I have never made it on the list for even an offer that I missed because I didn't see it early enough in a day. Several times I have thought, "Oh, I will buy some gifts for the holidays from Love Welcomes," but at the last moment I view the whole thing as a another Banksy shill project. As worthy of a cause as it comes across as, Banksy plays too many games with 'projects' like this. There are equally worthy causes where games aren't played. My.03. Yep, I am jaded. Anyone interested in a 200 GBP postcard that others picked up for 1.99GBP. Sucker me once, shame on you. To be clear, if you are a UAA member and you have made a career out of hoarding Banksy tat and selling it at extortionate prices, its not just me thinking it...you are a shitebag.
GDP, in general, was an equally disingenuous project. Anyone else notice, when you saw addresses from the "winners," that they were often from...right where you would expect. Seems like it was more of a payoff than anything else.
Curious as to your first line. As much harm to it as good?

From My last memory 4,000 mats were sold at ยฃ500 each. Are You saying that would have been raised anyway without Banksys contribution? Plus of course the mailing list and awareness that it has opened up for other goods.

Strange that they'd get flack and ire and not those that abuse the system. Bit of a self-centered statement. Imagine being angry at a charity because they're not serving or prioritising your own needs as a consumer over those they're established and dedicating their time and energy to help.
